Jérôme Yven is a composer for Film, Games, Media and sound designer, based in Lyon, France.
He started playing music as a bassist, and he has always been fascinating by film scoring. He also composed music for dance and theater.
After graduating from a Musicology Licence in Lyon 2, he integrates the Master of "Musiques Appliquées Aux Arts Visuels" (MAAAV) in 2018.
His work his influenced by great composers such as Danny Elfman (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...), Bruno Coulais (Coraline, Brendan and the Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea...) and Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox, A King's Speech...).
